23/4/10 - Club AGM - 2010-11 President and Blues Captain decided

The OURLFC AGM was held on Friday night, when the successful season was reviewed and plans for making next year even more so were discussed. The President for next year was also elected, and the Blues Captain announced.

The Club President for 2010-11 will be Brett Marshall (Queen's) and the Blues Captain Marcus-Alexander Neil (St. Hilda's). Hopefully they can keep the good work and progress of the club going.

10/11/09 - Varsity Date confirmed

The date for the 2010 Rugby League Varsity match live on SkySports has been fixed for Thursday 4th March. This gives Blues Captain Paddy Boyle and Head Coach Dan Garbutt just under 4 months to put the finishing touches on this season’s very promising squad. Confidence is high, as is competition and there will be some tough choices to be made in late February.

6/11/09 - Tour of Portugal announced

OURLFC is proud to announce the dates for this year’s pre-varsity tour as 7th-12th January. The club will be visiting Brown’s training camp in the Algarve, Portugal; a top of the range facility used by half of the Superleague clubs, the England rugby union side and professional and national football teams.

With the season underway and the squad beginning to gel, the annual trip abroad for warm weather training and bonding will be the perfect opportunity to hone skills and camaraderie before travelling to The Stoop in March.
